1. General
Make and do everything “M.A.D.E” is the data controller for the processing of our customers' information. We take data protection seriously and therefore ensure that the personal data we collect in connection with our cooperation with you is protected.
Below you can read how and on what basis we process your personal data.
In general, M.A.D.E processes personal data about our customers, partners, contacts and others in connection with the sale of our services and products, as well as in connection with the performance of services and in connection with our own purchase of various services and products. We also process information in connection with your visit to our website. See below for more information on our cookie policy, section 5.

2. What information do we process?
We only process personal data about our customers obtained as part of purchasing products or services, including booking events. You can provide personal data via emails you send to us, as well as via our booking system.
We only process general information about our customers, partners and users. If you are a private customer, this includes your name, address, email address, telephone number and date of birth. If you are a contact person at one of our corporate customers or partners, we process your name, title and work-related contact information (company address, company telephone number, CVR number).
In connection with booking, IP address, device number and payment information related to the booking are also processed.

3. Why do we process this information?
We process personal data about our customers to pursue our legitimate interest in administering our company's marketing, sales and invoicing of our services. This includes to be able to handle contracts with our customers and business partners, as well as to be able to improve, develop and market our services, and to be able to fulfill our accounting and bookkeeping obligations.
Finally, to also be able to respond to inquiries about our services and handle any objections.
If you have given your explicit consent by subscribing to our newsletter on the website, we will also send you direct marketing. In addition to the information on our website and via social media, we can – with your consent – also keep you up to date with new products and services via email.
The legal basis for our processing is therefore the following articles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
Article 6(1)(a), according to which personal data may be processed with explicit consent
Article 6(1)(b), according to which personal data may be processed if it is necessary for the performance of a contract
Article 6(1)(c), according to which personal data may be processed if it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation (for example, the Danish Accounting Act and the Danish Marketing Practices Act)
Article 6(1)(f), according to which personal data may be processed if necessary for the purposes of a legitimate interest, unless the interests of the data subject override this.
4. Particularly regarding cookies
On our website we use "cookies", which are text files that are stored on your computer, mobile phone, etc. for the purpose of recognizing the user and remembering settings, performing statistics and targeting advertisements.
A cookie cannot spread computer viruses or other malicious programs. It also cannot identify your name, where you live, or whether your computer is used by other people. The only personally identifiable information is your device ID number and your browser's IP address.
M.A.D.E uses “necessary cookies” which help make the website usable by enabling basic functions, such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the website.
In addition, M.AD.E. uses the following cookies:
Preference cookies, which for example remember the language setting and the visitor's region
Statistical cookies (third-party cookies) that provide insight into the user's interaction with the website
Marketing cookies (third-party cookies), which are used to integrate with social media platforms and thus track users across them in order to show relevant ads
We only use cookies that are not necessary for the website to function with your consent. You will therefore be asked to decide whether you wish to accept cookies when you visit our website.

However, if you delete or block cookies, the ads you see may be less relevant to you and appear more frequently. You may also risk that the website will not function optimally.
5. Disclosure to third parties
We only disclose information to the extent that your agreement with us requires such disclosure, or if you have given your consent. However, if we suspect fraud or misuse of our website, we may disclose personal information to relevant authorities.
In addition, we use data processors for, among other things, our satisfaction surveys, sending newsletters and booking events.
6. How long do we keep your information?
Your data will be stored as long as it is relevant for the specific purpose and will be deleted on an ongoing basis, although billing information is stored for 5 years in accordance with the Danish Accounting Act.
Information processed on the basis of consent will be deleted if consent is withdrawn.
7. Your rights
Under the data protection regulations, you have a number of rights. Among other things, you can withdraw your consent at any time, whereby we will stop processing your information. However, withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the consent is withdrawn, nor will it affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of other provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.

to gain insight into the information we process about you, and
to have any incorrect information about you corrected
In very special cases, you can also ask for:

to have the processing of your personal data restricted .
Because we process your data partly on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests), you can also in certain cases:
object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data if you find that your interests in not having your data processed outweigh our legitimate interests in processing your data.
Finally, you have the right to complain about our processing of your personal data to the Danish Data Protection Authority, and on the authority's website you can find further guidance about your rights:
